Tal Raviv, 27 years old Berlin based architect originally from Tel-Aviv, Israel. Completed 5 years of architecture studies at 'Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem' (B.Arch - comparable to EU M.Arch / Dipl.-Ing). For the past year she worked in a leading architectural firm in Tel Aviv and developed additional capabilities from those she studied.

Tal grew up on sailboats and has spent her adulthood sailing around the world with her family, in addition to her being a part of a laser sailing team called “Hapoel Tel Aviv”. This hobby has become a way of life for both her and her family, and as soon as she graduated from high school - her family has moved to a Catamaran boat in ‘Herzliya Marina’, Israel- and started living there as their home.

For two years, during her military service in the Air Force, she has returned during the weekends, from the anti-aircraft base in the desert - to her home in the sea. Living on a boat has taught her about efficiency, living minimally, and maximizing minimal spaces.

Few people my age know what they want to do in their life and what makes them happy. Architecture for me is not just a profession or a job, but my world’s perception and the biggest passion.

This everlasting domain - while having deep historical roots, it is constantly involving and adopting to the changes of different time periods, cultures and people’s needs. Being a good architect means, in my opinion, to be able to absorb, analyse and apply all elements in your disposal.
